It is the desire of the lodges, cottages and camps at Limberlost to provide a high standard for vacation accommodation and to ensure both the guests and staff have a clear understanding of what is expected of each other and that both parties conduct themselves to a maximum standard. Please read carefully the following conditions as it pertains to your desire to reserve a rental property from Limberlost.
Once accommodation is confirmed a rental agreement along with confirmation of booking will be emailed to you. The rental agreement must be completed and signed upon check in.
By signing the rental agreement and providing payment you acknowledge that it has been read and understood.
Upon confirming your booking a deposit of 30% of the balance owing is required to hold the reservation. Payment can be made by all major credit cards. Cash or cheques are accepted however the reservation are not held until payment has been received. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
Cancellations that occur prior to 60 days of the start of rental term will be refunded the full deposit.
Cancellations that occur after 60 days prior to start of rental term the deposit will not be refunded.
Check in procedure
On your confirmation email, you will be instructed to sign a safety deposit agreement and pick up your key at the office. If payment has not been received with in the 30 day prior to your arrival date you must pay full balance owing.
Check in 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Check out 10:00 am
If you are going to be later than 5:00 pm we must be notified 1 day in advance. In the event that the rental property is vacant the day prior to your arrival, we will try to accommodate an earlier check in.
Safety deposit agreement is to be preauthorized with a credit card at time of check in.
The safety deposit agreement is to cover the cost of any possible damage or extensive cleaning.
Check out procedure
The tenants shall maintain, keep and leave rental property in a ordinary state of cleanliness and in the same good working order as found on arrival.
You must come to office to hand in your keys and let staff know that all occupants have left the property.
Rules and regulations of the rental units
As the registrant of the rented unit, you must be 18 years of age.
As a holder of the registered credit card used for security deposit, you mist remain in house for the duration of the contracted stay with us. The registered guest accepts responsibility for other unit occupants that are in violation of the rules laid out within our safety deposit agreement.
Smoking inside the units are not permitted at any time. If any traces of smoking are detected minimum charge of $130 will be deducted from your security deposit.
We are a pet friendly resort and encourage you to bring your furry friends along. You are expected to clean up after them. If any damages are made to the unit or if any extensive cleaning is needed because of your pets, then charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Any damage caused to the rented unit (including but not limited to furniture, fixtures, flooring, walls, doors, appliances and the units exterior) will be paid by the registrant.
Water Craft use
Limberlost notifies that our lakes are unsupervised and if you are to use one of our water crafts they are to be used solely at the risk of the guest. Limberlost will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries that occur while using the water crafts.
As a holder of the registered credit card used for security deposit any damage or loss of the water vessel is your responsibility (including but not limited to paddles, oars, life jackets and water safety kits)
Beaches and swim areas
Limberlost notifies that the beaches and swimming locations are unsupervised and are to be used solely at the risk of the guests. Limberlost will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries that occur during the use of the water.
