Lodges:
Limberlost Forest surrounds the J. Albert Bauer Provincial Park and is a short driving distance to Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks.
We offer seven lakefront lodges and cottages surrounded by extensive woodland trails and sandy beaches. Three rustic outposts on private lakes and fifty-two campsites.
Each of our rental properties is available as a complete unit and can be reserved weekly, during the week or for weekends.

The Solitaire and Buck lodges are our largest accommodations coming in at 3 stories total, featuring luxurious and fully furnished interiors, plenty of outdoor seating, and even a sauna!
Buck Lake Lodge
Luxurious accommodations for between 7 to 16. Features 7 bedrooms in total with 2 full bathrooms, and a sauna with a shower. Privately nestled in on the western shore of Buck Lake.
Solitaire Lodge
Our largest rental available, hosts between 7 to 18. Features
7 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a sauna. Rich in history, first built in 1929 by Limberlost’s founders, it has continued to be updated throughout the years while still retaining the history and feel of the lodge.

We have a wide variety of different bungalow-style cottages to fit the needs and tastes of every group. All located on Lake Solitaire.
River’s Bay
Comfortable accommodations for between 5 to 9. 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms – one of which features a luxury jacuzzi.

One of our most popular cottages, which sleeps between 3 to 6. Features 2 full washrooms, 3 bedrooms, a private beach and a screened in gazebo.

Water’s Edge
Comfortable accommodations for between 3 to 8. Single full washroom, 2 bedrooms and a bunkie which houses 3 more beds. As the name implies, this cottage is placed right on the eastern rocky shore of Solitaire Lake.

Owl’s Nest
A unique offering: two separate cottages on the same site available to book individually or as a pair.
Owl’s Nest #1 sleeps between 3 to 6 and features 3 bedrooms and 1 full washroom. Backs onto a sandy beach.
Owl’s Nest #2 sleeps 10 and features 3 bedrooms, 1 full washroom, and is equipped with some bunk beds.
Outposts/Remote Rustic Outposts:
We have a set of three rustic Outpost cottages available for rental. For those guests looking for a more remote getaway. Outposts have propane fueled stoves, solar refrigerators, and have solar powered lights. No electricity, and only hand-pumped water.
Note: Outposts are not offered in the winter & require an all-wheel drive vehicle to access.

Camping:
We offer camping year-round at Limberlost. All of our sites are private, deep in the forest & set back from the water. We have:
- Traditional campsites equipped with fire pit, picnic bench, private outhouse and nearby parking.
- Campsites with all of the above but with raised wooden tent platforms to insulate from the ground and keep you dry.
- Sites with newly built 10′ x 10′ cabins – some of which feature propane heating. Cabins are bare except for a door and window, you are still required to bring all bedding materials like while traditionally camping.
